Reflection on the Unchanging Nature of God
Scripture-based devotional meditation
“Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and comes down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shadow of turning.”
James 1:17
“The counsel of the LORD stands forever, The plans of His heart to all generations.”
Psalm 33:11
“For the mountains shall depart And the hills be removed, But My kindness shall not depart from you…”
Isaiah 54:10
“For I am the LORD, I do not change.”
Malachi 3:6
It is clear from Scripture that God wants us to know Him. How wonderful it is that God created us to love, serve, worship, and glorify Him.
“Let not the wise man glory in his wisdom… but let him who glories glory in this, that he understands and knows Me…”
Jeremiah 9:23–24
The one who has a revelation of God will boast only in Him—not in wisdom, strength, riches, or anything of self.
Reborn to worship You
What joy it is to serve
And only glorify
Jesus Christ!
“But the people that do know their God shall be strong, and do exploits.”
Daniel 11:32
“What things were gain to me, those I counted loss for Christ…”
Philippians 3:7–8
To know Christ surpasses all else. In Him, all earthly gain becomes loss compared to the excellency of His knowledge.
“Grow in grace and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.”
2 Peter 3:18
One of the attributes of God is His immutability—He does not change. This truth becomes a deep anchor in uncertain times.
“Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever.”
Hebrews 13:8
In a changing world filled with uncertainty, God remains the unchanging refuge and rock of His people.

In the coming year, may many be turned from sin to Christ. May the Church shine as salt and light. May believers grow in grace, holiness, and love for God.
“Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think…”
Ephesians 3:20–21
“To Him who loved us and washed us from our sins in His own blood… be glory and dominion forever.”
Revelation 1:5–6
