Reflection
Scripture is filled with thanksgiving and praise. From David to Paul,
from Hannah to Mary, God’s people continually responded with gratitude.
“In everything give thanks” is not conditional—it is a call to trust in God’s
sovereignty in all circumstances.
Thankfulness is a recognition of dependence on God, the giver of every good and perfect gift.
A thankful heart reflects faith, humility, and awareness of God’s unchanging goodness.

Hymn — Charles Wesley
What shall I render to my God
For all His mercy’s store?
I’ll take the gifts He hath bestowed,
And humbly ask for more.
The sacred cup of saving grace
I will with thanks receive…
Offer the sacrifice of praise,
And call upon His name.
Praise Him, ye saints, the God of love,
Who hath my sins forgiven…
