As an arrow in Your Hand

I know that You can do everything,
And that no purpose of Yours can be withheld from You.                                                   Job 42:2

For whom He foreknew, He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son,
that He might be the firstborn among many brethren.                                                 Romans 8:29

Now may the God of peace who brought up our Lord Jesus from the dead, that great Shepherd of the sheep, through the blood of the everlasting covenant, make you complete in every good work to do His will, working in you what is well pleasing in His sight, through Jesus Christ, to whom be glory forever and ever. Amen.                                                                                 Hebrews 13:20-21

Make me, O LORD,

As an arrow in Your Hand –

Born of Your Spirit,

Sanctified by Your word.

Filled with Your Spirit,

Immersed in Your word;

Praying without ceasing;

Divinely equipped.

Led by Your Spirit;

Proclaiming to the lost

The Christ of God;

Edifying the brethren –

Hitting, not missing, Your holy target:

From glory to glory, to Christ
conforming.
