God is unchanging, faithful, and the source of every good gift. Scripture reminds us that His counsel stands forever and His nature has no variation or shadow of turning (James 1:17, Psalm 33:11, Malachi 3:6). In a world marked by uncertainty and suffering, this truth becomes a deep anchor for the believer’s soul.
Knowing God is the highest calling of life—far greater than wisdom, strength, or riches. Those who truly know Him find strength, holiness, and purpose, as they grow in the knowledge of Christ (Philippians 3:7–8, 2 Peter 3:18). God’s immutability assures us that His love, promises, and covenant of peace never fail, even when everything around us changes.
This leads to gratitude and worship: thanksgiving for salvation in Christ, for God’s mercy and grace, for His Word, and for the fellowship of believers. It also leads to prayer—that many would come to know Christ, that the Church would shine as light in the world, and that believers would grow in holiness and faithfulness.
Above all, to God be glory forever—He who is able to do immeasurably more than we ask or imagine, through Jesus Christ our Lord (Ephesians 3:20–21).

I delight to praise God because I delight in Him. Unceasingly I will delight in Him because of Who He is. My Maker and my Sustainer, He knit me together in my mother’s womb. He gave me physical life. Every breath comes from Him. Every provision. Every comfort. Every solace. I delight to praise God because God is love. He demonstrated His love for me in that while I was still mired in sin and rebelling against Him, Christ, the Son of God died for me. His sinless, precious blood perfectly atoned for all my sin. In Christ, He met my greatest need: God gave me spiritual life. He raised me from spiritual death and He gave me eternal life. Hallelujah!

Words matter. Our words are powerful. They express our thoughts, emotions, inclinations, beliefs, requests and so on. We speak to and impact one another through our words. All sorts of words: kind words, cruel words, gentle words, harsh words. Uplifting words, disheartening words, words that honour, words that dishonour, words that build up, and words that tear down. What kind of words are you speaking? Our words can calm or agitate, they can encourage or bring discouragement, they can heal or hurt, they can guide or mislead.
